GELANG PATAH, Johor, – Football icon and 90s heartthrob, Lee Sharpe, famed for his dynamic performances with Manchester United, England, Leeds United, and more, is set to make a special appearance at the Johor Golf Expo 2024 (JGE 2024).
This highly anticipated event will be held at the scenic Senibong Golf Club, where Sharpe will headline the Hole-in-One Challenge as part of a thrilling lineup of activities for the inaugural JGE.
Sharpe, who played over 400 professional football matches and won an impressive collection of silverware—including three Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and a League Cup during his celebrated career at Manchester United—has since made a name for himself in the world of golf.
After retiring from football in 2003, Sharpe transitioned to professional golf and began competing in tournaments in 2021. Now a recognized international football pundit, his presence at the JGE is sure to excite both football and golf fans alike.

12:00 PM: Arrival at Johor Golf Expo, followed by a 30-minute Meet & Greet with fans.
1:30 PM: Participation in the Hole-in-One Challenge at Senibong Golf Club.
5:15 PM: Attendance at the JGE 2024 Opening Ceremony, followed by another Meet & Greet and photo session.
6:30 PM: Exclusive Storytelling/Q&A Session, where Sharpe will share stories from his illustrious football career and his exciting journey into professional golf.
In addition to competing in the Hole-in-One Challenge, fans will have the opportunity to meet the football legend, take photos with him, and even get autographs during the official opening of JGE 2024.
